Exact Keyword Matching
What it is
The precise terminology from the JD is used. Not synonyms, not paraphrases.
Why it works
If the JD says 'Salesforce CRM', writing 'CRM systems' is invisible to the ATS.
The ATS searches for the exact words it was given, not what you meant.
STAR & CAR Storytelling
What it is
Situation → Task → Action → Result for the primary structure (the UK standard for competency interviews); condensed to CAR (Challenge → Action → Result) where brevity matters.
Why it works
No one makes a decision on a number alone. They need a story that makes the achievement real.
Stories are remembered. Task lists are forgotten.
Evidence-Only Standard
What it is
