About TAILOR
A small UK team building a CV-tailoring tool around the three audiences every job application has to convince: the applicant tracking system, the recruiter, and the hiring manager.
Who's behind it
TAILOR is built and operated by EMJ Digital Solutions Limited (registered office: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom). It's a genuinely small operation: founder-led, built in the UK, no investors, no growth-hacking team. The product exists because the standard CV-writing advice on the internet doesn't reflect how modern hiring actually works in 2026, and the standard CV tools don't do anything about it.
Why we built it
Every CV submitted in the UK in 2026 passes through three filters before the candidate gets to make their case in person:
- The applicant tracking system (ATS), which screens on keywords, format and parseability before any human sees the application.
- The recruiter, who spends seven seconds with the top third of the CV deciding whether to read on or move to the next file.
- The hiring manager, who evaluates the substance against the role, often via a different lens than the recruiter and the ATS.
Most existing CV tools optimise for one of these audiences (usually the ATS) and ignore the other two. The result is CVs that score well in a checker, then get rejected by the recruiter, or vice versa. TAILOR's framework explicitly addresses all three, per job application, in minutes. How it works walks through the specifics.
What makes us different
- UK-built, UK-first. We understand the UK job market: NHS person specs, Civil Service Success Profiles, the Equality Act, UK CV length norms, sector-specific vocabulary. Most CV tools are US-centric and treat UK conventions as an afterthought.
- Accessibility built in, not bolted on. OpenDyslexic font, voice dictation, and read-aloud are first-class features across the product, including the CV Builder. We treat accessibility as a feature, not a compliance checkbox.
- Pricing for the reality of a finite job hunt. The Job Hunt Pack is a one-off £44.97 for 60 analyses with no expiry. Most competitors only offer subscriptions, which charge you while you're already stressed about money. The weekly plan exists as a low-commitment trial path.
- Honest output. Every document goes through a humanizer pass calibrated to read as written by a thoughtful human, not by a language model. We don't claim AI detection bypass (that's a moving target), but the writing standard is held high.
- Founder-led support. Email support@tailor-get-noticed.com and you'll get a real reply from the team, not a ticket queue. That's only sustainable at the current scale, and that's the point of being honest about it.
Where we are
TAILOR launched in 2026 and is still early-stage. As of this page being written, the product has shipped its CV Builder, full analysis flow, browser extension covering 50+ job sites, and a free Chrome Web Store listing. The first Job Centre pilot is running with Chelmsley Wood, with the goal of bringing the tool to UK jobseekers who currently get the thinnest CV support. We're growing the user base honestly, not via paid acquisition.
If you're a UK careers professional, a Job Centre, an outplacement firm, a university careers service, or a charity supporting jobseekers, and you'd like to discuss using TAILOR with your cohort at no cost, please reach out. We answer every email.
